a bit of English

Ok, I know its been a while I've updated this page in English, but I didnt have much time in the past 6 weeks or so. I went home for a wedding, came back to Japan to work 2 weeks and had many farewell parties since! So, I'm in "vacation" since July 27th and I stayed around Aomori for a week after that, with my friend Eri from Osaka who came to visit. On the 3rd of August, I took the ferry from Aomori to Hokkaido )Murora) to start my bicycle trip. It rained my first night, and then, it was clear most of the time. I cycled from Muroran to Sapporo, met some friends there, trained to Asahikawa and then biked all the way up to Shiretoko hanto, meeting tons of people on the way, seeing 4 festivals, hiking 3 mountains and climbing 4 passes on my bike, with the most difficult one being Shiretoko pass, going from sea level to 760 meters in a small 13kms, with no breaks on the way! Let me tell you I had a blast going down the 15kms on the other side of the mountain!!!

I came back to Aomori on the 16th of August and now I'm back in good old Shichinohe. I'm playing in the Aomori prefecture soccer tournament this weekend and I'm leaving Aomori Monday morning for Tokyo where I'll meet some friends, before saying goodbye to Japan next Tuesday... samishii!!!

I had a great two years here in Japan and I'm planning a good year ahead as well. I will keep this blog online for at least another year, but with updates once in a while!!! It'll be hard for me to post pictures, but if I can, I'll do my best to send you some photos!

Thanks to everyone who made my stay in Japan awesome!! 39!
